On August 20th., St. Thomas Lutheran Church and Freedom Childcare Center are planning a special  outdoor celebration service for the 5th anniversary opening of the Freedom Childcare Center. The service will on the grounds of the Freedom Childcare Center at 8753 Pleasant Lake Road, beginning at 10:00 am. The service will be led by Pastor/professor Charles Schulz of Concordia University, Ann Arbor and St. Thomas’s pastor Carl DeMeritt.
There will be a special picnic style lunch provided along with fellowship, games and activities for the entire family.

St. Thomas Lutheran Church and Freedom Childcare Center will be hosting Vacation Bible School Camp, “A MIghty Fortress,” on Saturday July 8th, 9:00 a.m. until noon. VBS will be at the grounds of Freedom Childcare Center at 8753 Pleasant Lake Road.

Thank you to Moore & Pediatrics for their generous grant to promote healthy eating.The children and adult volunteers planted this wonderful vegetable garden in May. We are now waiting to enjoy the harvest of cucumbers, beans, zucchini,tomatoes, and corn!
